In Oregon, most commercial health insurance companies offer plans that cover office visits with naturopathic doctors.
Additionally, CareOregon OHP plans also cover naturopathic medicine.
Naturopathic doctors are licensed medical providers in the state of Oregon, so many insurance companies cover naturopathic medical services in the same way they cover a visit with any other type of physician. With that said, health insurance plans vary greatly even within the same insurance company, so it’s important to be familiar with your own health insurance benefits before seeking care.
We are currently NOT taking new Kaiser / CHP or Humana Patients.
Medicare does NOT pay for Naturopathic health care.
Some Medicare Advantage plans do.
Contact your Advantage plan to verify that our providers are in your network and that your plan covers naturopathic services. When confirming with your plan, make sure you check our providers by their names and not as Hillsboro Naturopathic Clinic.
The only Medicaid/Health Share plan that we are able to take at this time is CareOregon. Your insurance card must state that your physical health plan is CareOregon. We are unable to take any other CareOregon and Medicaid plans at this time.
Please check your card to make sure your physical health plan says CareOregon. If you are unsure, please call your health plan and ask what your physical plan is.
